Ambient Environment

The loading devices can be operated in ambient, high-temperature and high-temperature high-pressure environments.

A glass cylinder cell (C231/C224/C221) typically has a specimen holder in the testing cell, with polymer lids. The operating pressure is slightly above ambient pressure. The maximum operating temperature depends on the testing environment and the testing cell lid material.

The testing cell can be equipped with valves, a heating coil, electrochemical tools, and an LVDT sensor, among other instruments.
