Testing Cells

Conventionally the hydrogen environment tests have been performed in water with dissolved hydrogen. Hydrogen is often produced electrochemically when cathodic protection phenomena are simulated. Hydrogen can also be produced as a corrosion product of H2S corrosion on steel. The testing methods application are related for example to the hydrogen embrittlement (HE) and hydrogen permeation related properties. Cormet provides testing cells, electrochemical tools and Devanathan cells for hydrogen permeation studies.
